About Good Wood Lumber & Mill
History
Good Wood has become a passion project for providing quality wood materials for Craftsmen, Hobbyists, and Woodworkers. I am a small, manual milling operation that takes the discarded trees destined for the shredder and turns them into building materials.

Values
At Good Wood Lumber & Mill, the intention is to provide high-quality lumber products while maintaining a commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Too often large trees are discarded after storm damage or landscaping projects and destined for the woodchipper or log splitter. I prefer that no healthy trees are cut down. But, if a tree is unhealthy, unsafe or compromised in some way, it is still Good Wood that can be saved and given a new purpose.

Good Wood has wood materials for a variety of woodworking projects. I can also provide milling services, if there is a tree you'd like to repurpose. In addition to milling, we can provide design and build options for creating the final pieces.
